Supporting people after sudden death including COVID-19

'Someone has died suddenly' Amy and Tom book - 23/05/16

'Someone has died suddenly' Amy and Tom book:

We are delighted to announce that we have launched an updated version of our essential 'Someone has died suddenly' Amy and Tom book. This book provides a simple way for adults to help children to understand their strong emotions following a sudden death.
The book is colourfully illustrated, and is designed to be read together by children and adults. Readers follow the adventures of Amy and Tom, who have been bereaved suddenly and are recovering from their grief. The book offers a great way to communicate important messages, and to encourage suddenly bereaved children to discuss their feelings.
Sections in the book cover the different emotions that children may feel following a bereavement, essential information about what happens when someone dies and an introduction to the role of the emergency services.
